How to turn your health around

How do you do that? – Turning your health around?

It starts with your nutrition, both what you take in on a physical level as well as emotional/mental impressions that go into your system.

Let’s start with the physical aspect of what actually nourishes our physical bodies

First consideration is:

  • You got to have the notion, the feeling, the sense or the knowing, that it would be good for you to do it, to get healthier, to nourish your body in a way that makes you have energy and feel alive.
  • You understand that being healthy will positively affect ALL other areas of your life.
  • You have become convinced that it is time, now, for YOU to take charge of your own health.

You have to be willing to :

LEARN

  • Learn about nutrition, nutrients, physical needs, intermittent fasting, and what actually is a healthy diet humans evolved to eat and digest
  • Learn about your beliefs, especially examine your beliefs about foods,

SELF OBSERVE

  • Be willing to spend time to self observe, yourself and your responses towards food, how it makes you feel when you eat, 30 minutes after you eat, why you eat in the first place

INTRODUCE HEALTHY FOODS

  • After learning and examining your beliefs, install new beliefs and
    start introducing foods that you know will nourish your body with what it actually needs

NOTICE THE CHANGE IN YOU

  • Over time, your taste will change and you won’t want to eat junk food any more, it will naturally fall away from the things you eat, food that are fillers, non-nutrition food, sugary food will just not be attractive.
  • You will naturally want to eat healthy nutritious foods, foods that give you energy, energy to live your live creatively, feeling alive, you will even want to grow your own food, on your patio, your small backyard, your windowsill.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a fan of ANY “diet” no matter how in fashion or how convincing the advertisement. The most I can go for is:no toxins, meaning no pesticides, and in season, largely plant based foods.

That is the start and just knowing this will get you on the road to health, no matter what your current condition.
